Stagg Plants and Shrubs
We started Stagg Plants and Shrubs mainly to sell bareroot trees and hedging. This season is november to march. Garden maintenance and landscaping slow down over these months. The bareroot plant sales would bring in an extra income for the winter months.
To do this we needed to build a sandpit to store the plants in. 30 tons of sand and hours of hand raking and spading later we had our sand pit.
Clearing site!
We had to clear the site and level it so we could start construction of the sand pit.
Sands arrived!!
The sand was delivered 5 tons at a time by tractor and trailer.
DONE!!
Once the sand had all been raked out it was time to fill jit up with plants!
This is our first delivery of bareroot plants. We had over 200 trees and about 30 bundles of hedging, 25 plants per bundle.
Each tree and hedging bundle had to be planted one by one.
